LAGOS, February 19, (THEWILL) – A bomb suspected to have been detonated by the notorious terror group Boko Haram rocked Suleja, a town a few miles from Abuja on Sunday.
The bomb struck at about 10.15am.

The explosion, which occurred near a branch of one of Nigeria’s most popular Pentecostal churches, Christ Embassy, wounded five persons.

However, a security source in Niger State said one person was killed, but there has been no formal statement from the police on the death. THEWILL correspondent in the state could not independently confirm the death before press time.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Security forces alongside emergency and rescue personnel have since arrived the scene of the blast.

Last Christmas Day, a Catholic Church in Madalla, Niger State, a few miles from Abuja was bombed by the Boko Haram leaving scores dead and wounding several parishioners.
