On Saturday night close to fourteen hundred hardy souls braved the rain and packed the York Hall to capacity, stormy weather wasn't going to stop them being ringside, at Spencer Fearon's Hard Knock Boxing promotions 'Summer Smash' event, to watch former World Champs Choi Tseveenpurev (WBU/WBF) and Jackson Asiku (IBO) battle it out.

The weigh in for former WBU/WBF Featherweight World Champion Choi Tseveenpürev versus former IBO Featherweight World Champion 'Action' Jackson Asiku and Southern Area Light Welterweight Champion Darren 'Mr R&B' Hamilton versus Midlands Area Light Welterweight Champion Dave Ryan, for the British Masters Light Welterweight title, took place today at The Real Fight Club in Shoreditch.

This weekend the Capital's boxing fans will be treated to a mouth watering battle for supremacy between a current and former World Champion. The international contest, at York Hall in Bethnal Green, pits Mongolia's two time World Featherweight Champion Choi Tseveenpürev against Australia's former IBO World Featherweight Champion 'Action' Jackson Asiku in a non-Championship bout.

Asiku and Choi
Jackson Asiku's prospects to regain a world title shot have been conclusively sealed after landing an International boxing fight.

Australia-based Ugandan professional boxer, 32, Asiku alias 'Action' a former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) featherweight champion who switched back to the United Kingdom (UK), will on June 18, fight the Mongolian warrior Choi Tseveenpurey at York Hall Arena, Bethnal Green-London.

Amir Khan defended his WBA light-welterweight title with a unanimous points victory over Marcos Maidana in a thrilling fight in Las Vegas.
The official weigh-in for the Yassine 'The Showman' El Maachi - Jimmy 'Pit Bull' Colas International Masters Light Middleweight title clash was held at the Ultrachem TKO Gym in Canning Town, London tonight.

Ryan 'Mr Attitude' Barrett and Almin Kovacevi also weighed-in ahead of their clash, as main support for El Maachi-Colas at the Steve Goodwin promoted 'Judgement Day' event at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London.
