2012 IS EXCEPTIONAL, SAYS VINCENT

It's certain that there's going to be no more status quo. Many things, circumstances, events and histories are going to be changed, written or re-written.'

According to him, many would leap beyond all negative circumstances but this could only come if one is willing to divinely positioned oneself to experience the power to leap this Leap Year.

'In the Gregorian calendar – which is the common solar calendar used around the world – 2012 is a Leap Year because February (as in a Leap Year) has 29 days instead of 28 days. So a Leap Year is an 'Exception to the Rule' – having 366 days instead of the 365 days that makes a common year. Also a Leap Year comes every four years,' he explained.

'As an 'Exception to the Rule' May God grant you exceptional breakthroughs this Leap Year. May God grant you rear and uncommon favour. May God grant you extra breakthroughs for everything you've prayed or asked for. And may everything that is incomplete in your life receive a supernatural miracle to complete. May the miracles you'll receive compensate for everything you've ever lacked and lost in your past.

This is God's divine timing for you, therefore, receive supernatural power to leap from obscurity to limelight and from shame to glory; Power to leap from barrenness to fruitfulness and productivity; Power to leap from lack, debts and poverty to abundance, and prosperity; Power to leap from sickness to health; from crisis to peace; from sorrow to joy; from rejection to favor; from setbacks/ limitation to divine speed and restoration; from sin to righteousness; from glory to glory. Leap beyond your past into your God ordained prophetic destiny,' he prayed.

It was all joy, gratitude and celebration as Global Impact Church, Lagos, marked her 10th anniversary. The event, which held at the National Arts Theatre during the crossover into the New Year, recorded a huge turnout as members and friends celebrated God's faithfulness.

In his ministration, the pastor-in-charge of the church, Akinyemi Davids expressed his gratitude to God for bringing the ministry to where it is presently. The Pastor equally thanked everyone who had contributed to moving the church forward. Davids outlined the goals and vision of the church, stating that God had given the church the mandate of leading His children to greatness after the order of Abraham.

With emphasis from the book of Ezekiel 34 vs 23-31, Davids, who tagged the year, 'Showers of Blessings', revealed that God is always ready to bless His people regardless of the happenings in the land. At the end, he pronounced blessings upon the congregation.

The high point of the event was when 10 members of the church who have been consistent in their walk with God and labouring in His vineyard for a decade were rewarded with plaques. More members who were to be ordained ministers were equally called out and prayed for. The multimedia department also made a screen presentation about the history of the church. Members couldn't help but praise God the more for His faithfulness.
